Agency Contact Rule
Proposed rule 08 NCAC 01 .0101 provides the agency’s contact information, including address, phone, and email address, as well as normal operating hours. This rule is being proposed without changes to the current rule.

Modified Full-Time Offices Rule
Proposed rule 08 NCAC 05 .0111 provides that county boards of elections in counties with fewer than 6,501 registered voters may operate open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as opposed to every weekday. The proposed changes to the rule primarily add a standard for an eligible county board to follow when deciding whether to operate a modified schedule. The rule would further require the county with a modified schedule to be open full-time during early voting periods for primaries and general elections, as required by state law.
