Notice of Remote Meeting

The State Board of Elections will hold a remote meeting via Webex at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Any member of the public may observe the meeting online and by phone using the information below.

The State Board of Elections will soon check the citizenship of all registered voters in North Carolina against federal databases to identify and remove any non-U.S. citizens from the voter rolls. The board approved new rules at its meeting today for a process that must be followed before a voter is removed.

Any member of the public may observe the meeting online and by phone using the information below.  

Members of the public may comment on the State Board’s initial determination that 38 existing rules are necessary through Oct. 17, 2025.
