Update: The in-person public hearing on these rules is now scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 9, 2026. The State Board of Elections invites the public to comment on several proposed permanent rules related to voter roll list maintenance on the basis of non-citizenship. The public comment period is open and runs through March 16, 2026.

Comments on the rules will be compiled and provided to the State Board before its final adoption of the rules, which will take place at a public meeting after the end of the comment period. The Rules Review Commission would then consider the proposed rules before they become effective.
