Mailing of Absentee Ballots | November 2021 Municipal Elections

Overview

Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, county boards of elections will have begun mailing absentee ballots for November 2021 municipal elections to eligible voters who submitted an absentee ballot request form. After that date, you should receive your absentee ballot within about a week of submitting your request form, provided the request was received before the deadline.

If your city or town has a nonpartisan primary in October, ballots for the November election will not be mailed until after Thursday, Oct. 12, 2021. If you request a ballot ahead of the deadline and do not receive it within about a week from the appropriate date above, you can contact your county board of elections to check that your request form was received and processed.

Absentee Ballot Return Deadline

5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, Election Day, is the civilian absentee ballot return deadline for November 2021 municipal elections.
