An in-person public hearing on two permanent rules proposed to implement the photo ID requirement for in-person and absentee-by-mail voters in North Carolina will be held 11 a.m. Dec. 13, 2023 at the State Board of Elections.
A virtual public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive comments about two proposed temporary administrative rules related to tasks and duties of precinct officials at polling places and the appointment process and conduct of election observers.
