The State Board of Elections will hold a public meeting on Friday, January 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at its office in Raleigh (441 N. Harrington Street).

The North Carolina State Board of Elections and the Lee County Board of Elections will hold a public meeting, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 6pm at the Old Courthouse, 1400 South Horner Blvd., Courtroom #4 in Sanford. The meeting is to inform the public about Photo ID requirements effective as of January 1, 2016.

Judge James L. Baker was sworn in today as the third Republican member of the bipartisan State Board of Elections. Gov. Pat McCrory appointed Baker to fill the seat held by Paul Foley, who resigned in July.
