The State Board of Elections will hold a public meeting by teleconference on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at 4:00 p.m.

This release serves to update the public on the status of general election results and certain processes now underway across the state.

Senior staff at the N.C. State Board of Elections will hold a press briefing on Election Day. 

Through early Saturday afternoon, more than 3 million North Carolina voters had cast ballots in the 2016 General Election, either through in-person early voting or by mailing in absentee ballots. That’s 44 percent of the state’s registered voters.

On Election Day, Tuesday (November 8), the State Board of Elections will host media availability sessions outside the BOE office, 441 N. Harrington St., Raleigh, NC 27603. The sessions will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Please keep an eye on your emails for any updates to this schedule.
