The State Board of Elections on Wednesday launched a website to keep voters informed about the effects of Hurricane Dorian on ongoing elections in the 3rd Congressional District, the 9th Congressional District and the city of Charlotte

The State Board of Elections will hold a telephonic meeting beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

As Hurricane Dorian approaches, the State Board of Elections encourages individuals eligible to vote in September 10 contests to consider casting their ballot during the One-Stop early voting period, which ends Friday (September 6).

The State Board of Elections on Friday certified the voting systems of three vendors for use in North Carolina elections. The newly approved systems, which are all used in other states, are: Clear Ballot: ClearVote 1.4; Elections Systems & Software (ES&S): EVS 5.2.2.0; Hart InterCivic: Verity Voting 2.2

The State Board of Elections will hold a public meeting beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019, in person in the boardroom on the 3rd Floor of the Dobbs Building, 430 N. Salisbury Street, in Raleigh.

The State Board of Elections on Tuesday unanimously selected Damon Circosta as State Board chair. The 5-0 vote came after State Board Executive Director Karen Brinson Bell swore in Circosta as a member of the State Board. He replaces former Chair Bob Cordle, who recently resigned.
