Five State Board of Elections members were sworn in to four-year terms on Wednesday, and the Board reappointed Karen Brinson Bell as executive director.

The State Board of Elections will hold an in-person meeting at noon on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the State Board of Elections office, Third Floor, Dobbs Building, 430 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, N.C.

The State Board of Elections has updated the state's voter registration applications to comply with Friday’s N.C. Supreme Court ruling.

The State Board of Elections on Tuesday voted unanimously to remove Jerry Forestieri and Timothy DeHaan from the Surry County Board of Elections. These county board members recently refused to certify their local elections. The removals are effective immediately.
